"Ginger" is Wendy and Bill Tietzâs 2 year old Purebred Golden Retriever. She use to be indoors, but has adapted to the outdoors. So much so, she watches over the animals (2 Highland steers and 1 Appaloosa Mare) on the hay bales during the winter and off the deck in the summer. She loves to play with the mare (and visa-versa), play with the cats, and she follows us everywhere!
Her favorite pass-time, though, is riding on the golf cart! She never misses a ride! She even naps on it sometimes.She gives us her unconditional love and we don't know what we would do without her.
Our History
In 1984, Dr. Greg Palmquist moved to Grantsburg and purchased an existing veterinary clinic (previously owned by Dr. Branstad) in Grantsburg, WI. He practiced companion animal medicine and developed the bovine and equine practice in Grantsburg, along with other doctors. In 1995, Grantsburg Animal Hospital was remodeled and doubled in size at the current location at 886 South Pine Street.Payment Options
Grantsburg Animal Hospital and Wild River Veterinary Clinic accepts payment via cash, check, MasterCard, or Visa. So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered.
We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.
